On 21 April 2023, the museum was visited by Ion Stăvilă, the Ambassador of Moldova to Estonia. Taking the opportunity, he congratulated the team on winning silver medals in the Estonian Futsal Cup — a squad that included Moldovan nationals.
Together with Sergei Ivanov, they spoke not only about football but also reminisced about Chișinău and many things that connect them to the city and to Moldova. Ion Stăvilă also attended the beginning of a Phoenix football training session, where he spoke with coaches and several players.
Before leaving, he promised to try and attend a few Phoenix matches in Tallinn this season. Thank you, Ion Stăvilă, for visiting our museum — we look forward to seeing you again!
